T.E.A.C.H. D.C. Scholarship Program Update:

The T.E.A.C.H. D.C. scholarship program will sunset after the fall 2021 semester. The T.E.A.C.H. D.C. program will not provide scholarships after the fall 2021 semester. However, the Office of the State  Superintendent of Education (OSSE) will support the new grantee(s) in transitioning current scholars as soon as possible. OSSE will share more information about the new scholarship program in the coming months and will work with T.E.A.C.H. and the selected grantee(s) to support transitions for current T.E.A.C.H. scholars.

On Sept. 15, 2021, OSSE announced the  Early Childhood Education (ECE) Workforce College Development Program (WCDP) , which will serve the purpose of providing scholarships to the early care and education workforce and incentives to educators who already meet the minimum education requirements moving forward. This program is new and a competitive grant award process is currently underway to select a grantee or grantees to administer the scholarship and incentive program – this opportunity is specifically for entities who wish to administer the program and not those who wish to apply for the scholarship or incentive at this time. OSSE anticipates that the new program will begin enrolling new scholars by the summer or fall 2022 semester.

T.E.A.C.H. D.C. is here to support you with any additional questions or concerns that you may have. To  schedule a meeting with a staff member, please click the following link:
